Our History and versatility of custom and Iconic products

Molded Fiber Glass Companies (MFG) founded in Ashtabula, Ohio in 1948 and has operated a facility in California since 1976. In 1985 MFG acquired 4 composite molding facilities in Los Angeles County and formed MFG West in Carson, California.  In 1991 MFG purchased 10 acres of Land in Adelanto, California; constructed a 70,000 square foot building, designed for Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP), and began operation in 1992.

MFG West offers a number of processes, including open mold spray-up, hand lay-up, vacuum infused molding, pressure bag and resin transfer molding.

MFG West has produced many custom and iconic products for a variety of markets in the FRP industry including:
